Indicator Overview

The Key Pricing Levels chart visualises historical price alongside critical market levels derived from algorithmically calculated Short-Term Holder (STH) realised price and moving averages. It combines actual price with 200-day and 365-day simple moving averages, highlighting medium- and long-term trends. Cloud areas between STH realised prices and MAs emphasise regions of support and resistance, helping traders quickly identify key price zones.

Dual-Ticker Comparison Logic

The ‘Crypto’ fields allow the indicator to operate in both absolute price and relative performance modes, making it suitable for outright positioning or pair-based allocation decisions.

  • Single Crypto Analysis: If Crypto 2 is left blank, the indicator measures Crypto 1 against US Dollars. This mode is designed to identify statistically stretched rallies, deep mean-reversion zones, and long-term accumulation conditions where price trades multiple standard deviations below its historical average.

  • Relative Strength and Ratios: When both fields are populated, the indicator automatically constructs a ratio of Crypto 1 divided by Crypto 2, such as ETH/BTC or SUI/SOL. The metric is then calculated on the ratio itself, isolating relative performance and stripping out broad market beta. This enables precise identification of overperformance, underperformance, and regime shifts between assets.

How To Use

Bullish conditions are indicated when the price remains above the STH-equivalent realised price and the 200- or 365-day MAs, suggesting sustained upward momentum. Bearish tendencies emerge when the price falls below these levels, signaling potential corrections. Traders can adjust line thickness, timeframe, and moving average periods to focus on specific market horizons or volatility levels. The cloud fills visually reinforce important zones where price consolidation or trend reversals are likely, making it easier to manage positions, identify support/resistance, and optimise entry or exit points.
