Indicator Overview
The Golden Ratio Multiplier indicator overlays Bitcoin’s historical price on a logarithmic scale with a 350-day moving average (MA) and its multiples inspired by golden ratio sequences (e.g., ×1.6, ×2.0, ×3.0, up to ×21). It highlights key market levels by applying these multipliers to the MA, with dynamic cutoffs to focus on relevant historical periods and colour-coded lines transitioning from lighter shades (e.g., orange for lower multiples) to deeper purples for higher ones. This visualisation helps identify potential support, resistance, and overextension zones during Bitcoin cycles.
How To Use
Traders can interpret bullish signals when Bitcoin’s price crosses above higher multiples (e.g., ×5 or ×8), indicating potential overbought conditions or cycle peaks, while drops below lower multiples (e.g., ×1.6 or ×2.0) may signal bearish phases or buying opportunities near support. Use the logarithmic scale to assess long-term trends proportionally, and customise line thicknesses for clarity—thinner for price data and thicker for MA multiples. Apply SMA or EMA overlays (e.g., 50-day or 200-day) to smooth volatility and confirm trends. Adjust the timeframe to focus on shorter cycles, and download high-resolution images with an overlaid logo for reports or sharing, aiding in strategic decision-making across volatile Bitcoin markets.
