Indicator Overview

The indicator measures the 30-day percentage delta of the Realised Capitalisation. The Realised Cap represents the aggregate cost basis of the entire Bitcoin market. Therefore, this indicator calculates the net capital inflow or outflow into the Bitcoin ecosystem over the past month. It acts as a short-to-medium-term momentum tool, identifying recent shifts in investor purchasing or selling behaviour. The colour gradient from deep red (outflow) to bright green (inflow) visually signals the direction and intensity of capital movement.

How To Use

Realised Capital Flows is primarily used to identify short-term supply and demand imbalances and confirm market turns.

High Positive Readings (Green Zone): Strong, positive values (high net inflow) indicate a period of intense accumulation and high conviction, typically accompanying price rallies and confirming the strength of an uptrend.

Deep Negative Readings (Red Zone): Low or negative values (net outflow) signal capitulation or widespread profit-taking/selling, identifying periods of market weakness and potential price bottoms where supply is dominating demand.

Crossing the Zero Line: The zero line is critical. Moving above zero confirms net capital accumulation is occurring, signalling short-term bullish momentum, while moving below zero confirms net capital distribution, signalling short-term bearish pressure.
