Indicator Overview

The Trend Vector indicator measures XRP’s directional momentum by analysing weekly price movements and smoothing them with a Wilder-style moving average (RMA). It calculates a normalized Trend Vector value from 0 to 100, highlighting periods of strong bullish or bearish momentum. Colored segments dynamically map the intensity of trends, transitioning from light orange for weaker trends to deep red-orange for stronger trends, providing a clear visual representation of market pressure.

How To Use

Bullish momentum is indicated when the Trend Vector rises above the upper threshold, while bearish pressure is signalled when it falls below the lower threshold. Traders can use these signals to time entries and exits, manage exposure, and gauge trend intensity. Background shading emphasises high- and low-momentum periods, making it easier to visually identify prolonged trends or potential reversals. Adjusting line thickness, timeframe, or smoothing parameters enables customised analysis for short- or long-term trading strategies, enhancing decision-making in volatile XRP markets.
