About OCM Terminal
The OCM Terminal is a full price-action charting environment that brings institutional-grade analysis to any crypto, equity, or ETF. Crypto prices are served through the Chart Inspect proxy whilst stocks and ETFs are pulled live from Financial Modeling Prep, with a curated asset list plus open search across global markets. Beyond a single asset, the Terminal supports a **Pair** mode (the ratio of one asset over another) and a **Compare** mode (two assets rebased to 100 at the window start to read relative performance directly off the axis). Every chart can be rendered as a **Line**, **Area**, **Candlestick**, or **Heikin-Ashi** series, plotted on a log, linear, or percentage-change axis across timeframes from one month to the full history. A TradingView-style **Bar Replay** streams price forward bar by bar at selectable speeds for backtesting and storytelling, and a snapping **crosshair** reads the exact close and date at any point. The integrated indicators engine layers moving averages (SMA, EMA, WMA), rolling and anchored **VWAP**, Bollinger Bands, a volume sub-pane, and a full **Volume Profile (VPVR)** with up/down split, a 70% value area, and a point-of-control line. The Terminal also ships the full OCM annotation Toolkit: trendlines, channels, rectangles, Fibonacci retracements, phase shaders, callouts, measurements, and more, all anchored per asset and persisted across sessions. A cinematic **Presentation Mode** reveals annotations stage by stage with camera keyframes and screen recording, and every chart state is encoded in a shareable URL. The result is a single surface for technical analysis, content production, and live market study.

What assets can I chart on the Terminal?
Any cryptocurrency, global equity, or ETF. A curated list covers the most-traded names across all three classes, and an open search box queries Financial Modeling Prep so you can pull up almost any listed ticker. Crypto data is sourced through the Chart Inspect proxy; equities and ETFs come from FMP.
What is the difference between Pair mode and Compare mode?
**Pair** mode plots a single ratio line of asset one divided by asset two (for example ETH/BTC), useful for trading the spread between two assets. **Compare** mode overlays both assets as separate lines rebased to 100 at the window start, so you can read which one has outperformed and by how much directly off the axis.
How does Bar Replay work?
Replay truncates the chart at a movable cutoff and streams bars forward one at a time, TradingView-style, at speeds from 1x to 20x. The axis range is pinned to the full window so bars appear into a stable frame, and your annotations stay date-anchored throughout. It is a session activity and is never saved.
What does the Volume Profile (VPVR) show?
It maps how much volume traded at each price level over the visible window, drawn as a horizontal histogram. The point of control is the single most-traded price (a fair-value magnet), the 70% value area marks where most business was done, and the optional up/down split colours buying versus selling at each level.
Are my drawings and annotations saved?
Yes. Annotations are stored per asset (or per pair) in your browser via IndexedDB, so a trendline drawn on BTC never bleeds onto ETH and your work persists across sessions. You can also export them as JSON, build shareable links, save named sets, and present them stage by stage in cinematic Presentation Mode.
